About our Products

14 carat Gold Filled

Gold filled jewellery is made it by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a base metal core, usually brass. They apply heat and pressure to fuse the gold to the brass, forming a permanent bond that prevents the gold from flaking, peeling, or falling off.

By law, a gold filled item must contain at least 5% (or 1/20) gold- around 100 times thicker than gold plated jewellery.

Gold filled permanent jewellery is an excellent choice if you want a material that offers higher quality than gold-plated but costs less than solid gold. With proper care, gold-filled pieces can last a lifetime and resist damage from water or hot weather. Under normal conditions, they won’t tarnish.

Just like sterling silver, gold filled items can be cleaned using warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush or a gold cleaning cloth.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is a beautiful hypoallergenic material used in a wide range of jewellery applications. It is classed as a precious metal alloy containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, most commonly copper. This mixture is made because pure silver on its own is too soft. It bends, scratches, and loses its form under the everyday demands of being worn.

Sterling silver can tarnish over time and when in contact with creams and lotions, sweat, chlorine and saltwater but can always be cleaned up using a soft toothbrush and a silver polishing cloth!

Stainless Steel & PVD Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is a durable, corrosion-resistant metal alloy that combines strength, longevity, and hypoallergenic properties, making it ideal for everyday wear.

PVD stainless steel is stainless steel coated with a thin, durable layer of gold particles using a method known as Physical Vapor Deposition to enhance appearance, durability, and corrosion resistance.

This coating is bonded directly to the stainless steel surface, rather than simply sitting on top like paint or traditional plating, which ensures superior durability and wear resistance.
